Marc Camirand and Rick Karper have been elected to the board of the Quebec horsemen's association (ATAQ) as representatives of Montreal owners following a vote on the weekend

Camirand, acting president of ATAQ, received 25 votes. Karper, a longtime ATAQ board member, received 21. The other candidate, Max Bradette, received one vote.
ATAQ said on its website that 25 of 170 eligible voters cast ballots.
