On Saturday, January 23, the Harness Horse Breeders of New York State, on behalf of the Agriculture and New York State Horse Breeding Development Fund, will be holding an equine seminar at the Harness Racing Museum, 240 Main Street, Goshen, NY.
The event, which will begin with check-in at 10:30 a.m., will feature several topics of extreme importance to those owning horses and those thinking of becoming involved in the equine industry:
- 'Nutrition for Reproductive Success' will be discussed by Dr. John Lew, PhD., of McCauley Feed.
- 'Concentrated Animal Feed Operations: Understanding Nutrient Waste Management' with Mike Mazza.
- 'Insurance and Legal Questions concerning the Equine' -- Cunningham & Cunningham Livestock Insurance will be the featured speaker.
Admission -- which includes lunch -- for this event is $25 per person and $40 for couples.
