The Ontario Sires Stakes Administration would like to remind everyone that the deadline to register a stallion for the O.S.S. program for the 2011 breeding season without incurring a late fee is January 15
. However, since January 15th falls on a Saturday this year, payments showing a postmark of Monday, January 17th or earlier will be accepted.
Payments can also be made in person at the Ontario Racing Commission office ( 10 Carlson Court, Suite 400, Toronto, ON ) today or Monday during regular business hours.
Stallions not registered by the deadline can still be registered for the 2011 season. However, they must be registered before they breed their first mare of the season and the cost of registering the stallion will be higher.
If you did not receive a registration form in the mail, it can be downloaded from the O.S.S. website.
All cheques should be made payable and mailed (registered mail or courier is recommended to ensure that it is postmarked by January 17th) to:
