Cal Expo will race a special program this Thursday, Jan. 12 at 4:45 p.m. Pacific Time.
The weekend forecast for Northern California is poor. The current week's schedule now will be Thursday and Friday, with Sunday, Jan. 15 being dark.
Dancin Lance, who has two Open wins at the meet, and Major Attribute, who denied him a third in the most recent clash at the head of the class, square off in the featured $7,000 Open Pace on Thursday when there will be 13 races decided under the Watch and Wager LLC banner.
Wagering will be available at Cal Expo on Thursday evening, however, none of the California satellites will be open.
Looking ahead to Friday night’s card, there are 10 races scheduled with a 6:45 p.m. post and the co-headliners are the Open Trot featuring Pridecrest and a Filly and Mare Open Pace headed by Rockin With Lou.
