With a carryover in excess of $5,800, Hoosier Park has announced a $20,000 Guaranteed Pick-5 pool for the track’s Friday, May 24 card of live racing.
The track’s 14-race program will kick off at 5:45 p.m.
Two longshot winners in Thursday’s Pick-5 sequence at Hoosier Park sparked a carryover of $5,867.51 that will kick start Friday’s Pick-5 pool. The program is highlighted by a $21,000 Fillies and Mares Invitational Pace and a $20,000 Bill Thompson Pacing Series final.
The Pick-5, which offers a 50-cent minimum wager, begins in Race 10 and will continue through Race 14. Approximate post time for the first leg of the wager is 8:45 p.m. (EDT).
Hoosier race fans are reminded of an upcoming adjusted 4:30 p.m. first-race post time this Saturday (May 25) to accommodate the Steve Miller Band concert in Hoosier’s outdoor music centre.
