The Binet & Berube Show At Sulky Quebec

It was a dominant Thursday night at the office for the duo of driver Pascal Berube and trainer Isabelle Brunet, who joined forces to win five times on the 12-race program at Sulky Quebec.

The dynamic duo swept the Daily Double wager thanks to a win in the opener with Canaco Quitman (2:02.4) and a second race score with SOS Pearl Vision (2:02.1).

Bo Tie (2:01) rallied to an impressive victory in Race 5 to give them their third winner on the card, and Khayam I Am (1:59.4) romped to an easy decision in Race 7 to complete the Grand Slam. A win in Race 12 with Shark Key (2:02)

Berube finished his night with six wins thanks to a catch-driving score with the Stephane Audet-trained Buckys Luck (1:59) in Race 9. So far this season he has racked up 177 wins this while banking close to $600,000. The career winner of 1,904 races boasts lifetime earnings in excess of $5.3 million.

Binet, who went into tonight’s card with 399 lifetime wins, watched her yearly win total jump to 68. To date, she has banked in excess of $1.1 million.
