Three regular Harrington Raceway drivers had reason to celebrate Thursday. George Dennis picked up his 4,000th win earlier in the day at Chester Downs, while Victor Kirby drove four winners to victory on the Thursday program
at Harrington Raceway.
Dennis piloted Ash Larue ($44.40) to victory in the third race at Chester Downs and returned to his home track where he would proceed to win three more races with Beach Frenzy ($2.60), Dreamies Bad Boy ($8.20), and Nights Flyer ($19.20).
Meanwhile, Kirby, who had three winners on Wednesday, picked up where he left off, piloting Community Spirit ($2.80), Beefcake ($2.80), Best Ditch In Town($3.60) and Lullabye Blue ($5) to wins.
Not to be outdone Thursday, was Harrington’s reigning driving champ, Ross Wolfenden who had four winners of his own, Peruvian Banner ($2.40), Phranque ($9), Motoring Astreos N ($6), and Trottin DJ ($6.80).
Five-time Harrington champ Tony Morgan had three driving wins.
