Time To Dance continued to reassemble his dominant form as he vanquished his foes in the Cecil Ladner Memorial Invitational on Saturday (June 19) at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

Marc Campbell was aggressive from the start with Time To Dance in the $6,000 Ladner Memorial as the driver hustled his trainee to the lead past the :27.3 opening quarter set by Bugsy Maguire. Time To Dance settled on the lead and went through splits of :56.3 and 1:26.1 while fighting off the first-over Day Delight on a rain-soaked track rated two-seconds off. Time To Dance kicked clear in the stretch drive to win by a length in 1:55.2 with Day Delight second and Mc Pat third.

The winning horse recorded his second-straight victory and 21st overall for owners Brent Campbell of Charlottetown and Matt McDonald of Edwards, Ont.

Cowboy Logic won the evening $2,700 back-up pace in 1:57 with Steven Shepherd at the lines for trainer Kyle Wilkie and Island owners Maurice McCabe, Gerard Ellsworth, Angus Birt and George Burke. Legendary Ron closed for second with Disneyman finishing the triactor ticket in third.
