Priceless Edition Repeats At Rideau

For the second week in a row Priceless Edition romped to an easy win in Rideau Carleton Raceway’s Sunday evening feature – the $12,100 Preferred Pace

– for the tandem of trainer Mark Steacy and driver Gord Brown.

Priceless Edition, who drew away to win by more than seven lengths in last week’s assignment, followed up that blowout performance with a two and a half-length decision in this week’s tilt. Brown advanced his charge first-over in the back half of the mile en route to turning in the 1:53.3 score over Imjustalittleguy and Mild Mannered.

Bred and owned by Peter Heffering of Port Perry, ON, the five-year-old gelded son of Real Desire now owns a 5-2-2 record in his 15 trips postward. The $6,000 payday pushed this year’s bankroll over $66,000 while his lifetime total climbed over $388,000.
