Trot Insider has been informed that a GoFundMe account has been set up for Greg MacKenzie and Megan Baird, who experienced a barn fire last week in Scotsburn, Nova Scotia that claimed the life of Impeccable (p,4,1:51.1s [$465,986]).

The fire spread through MacKenzie and Baird’s Pictou County barn Thursday morning when no one was home with Impeccable. The 16-year-old son of Astreos was living his retirement at the Nova Scotia farm and was the only horse in the barn when the fire hit. The other horses on the property were turned out in their pastures and were unharmed. For complete information, click here.
