Taking over right where he left off last spring, Wildwild Men was reunited with victory lane thanks to a 1:59.3 tally in Thursday’s $8,500 Preferred 3 for trotters at Flamboro Downs.

Last seen in the winner’s circle on May 20, 2018, Wildwild Men had a qualifying prep at Flamboro Downs on February 2 before being dropped in the entry box just five days later.

Robert Shepherd got away near the back of the pack with the Isabelle Darveau trainee, but the gelding quickly swept to the lead in the late stages of the mile and drew clear to win by a length over Majestic Brayden in 1:59.3. Warrawee Shipshape took home the show dough in the seven-horse affair.

Catheline Pelletier and Chantal Gravel share ownership on the six-year-old son of Muscle Mass-Seeyouinthecircle. The 18-time winner has banked over $200,000 to date.
