Veteran pacer Armbro Warranty inched a bit closer to the $700,000 mark in career earnings thanks to an impressive victory in Sunday evening's $10,000 Preferred at Windsor Raceway.

The graduate of the OSS program found himself parked through a :27.1 opening quarter before being allowed to touch down on the lead for driver Gene Piroski. And once in charge, Armbro Warranty wasn't about to let anyone by.

He laid down middle splits of :55.3 and 1:24.1 before cruising home in :29.4 for the win. It was more than two lengths back to runner-up PCs Leo. Savor The Memory rallied to finish third in the eight-horse affair.

Russell Gowan conditions the nine-year-old son of Village Jiffy, who was sent off at odds of 10-1. The pacer is owned by Petrina Lawrence, Philip Roy and Helen May Lawrence.
