Vulcanize Strong in Buckette Division

Vulcanize flawlessly recorded her fourth consecutive victory Wednesday afternoon
in her $48,400 division of the Buckette for three-year-old trotting
fillies at the Delaware Ohio County Fairgrounds.

In rein to Ron Pierce, the
daughter of Muscles Yankee left from Post 5, cut the fractions in
:28.2, :58.4 and 1:28.3 and went on to post an open-length victory in
1:57.1.

Owned by the Lothlorien
Equestrian Centre of Mississauga, Ont.,
Vulcanize, who was unraced at
two, increased her record to 7-1-1 from 14 starts and pushed her
earnings past the half-million mark to $513,013.

Up Front Laura and pilot Brian Sears finished second, while Tsarina and pilot Jaqueline Ingrassia were third.

Prior to her performance today,
Vulcanize had tallied stakes wins in divisions of the Casual Breeze,
Simcoe and the Hudson Filly Trot.
