Runner-up Amillionpennies, who was sent off as the 7-5 favourite, was just a half-length in arrears and Crazy Dan rounded out the Triactor ticket in the eight-horse affair.
Sent off at odds of 5-1, Skedaddle Hanover won for the 22nd time in his career for the partnership of Robert Aerenson and Ross Weiner of Wilmington, DE. The pacer has banked $223,065 to date.
Fast Johnny also notched the 22nd win of his career thanks to his 1:59.4 score in the $13,000 Preferred Trot for the Baillargeon brothers – trainer Ben and driver Mario.
The seven-year-old son of Mr Lavec, who was let go at odds of 7-1, came first-over and cruised to a two-length victory over Jack Sparrow. Donald Rankin rounded out the top three.
Benjamin Paquette, Luc Daunais, Gilles Martin and Marc Lague share ownership on the career winner of $288,436.
