Hall of Fame driver Cat Manzi, who broke his clavicle and two ribs in a spill on August 17, is pointing toward a return to racing in early October.
"He is doing great and plans on being back to work in about three weeks," said Manzi's wife, Ellen, via an email on September 17 from their Freehold, New Jersey home. "It's amazing how well he recovered from this. I just hope he has no more bad luck. We also can't believe how many people called or sent messages or gifts."
Manzi was injured a month ago in a racing accident in the 12th race at Harrah's Chester.
