John Chappell had the hot barn on Friday night at Grand Prairie as his stable won three of the eight dashes.
Chappell’s students started the night off on the right foot when they swept the early Daily Double. Got No Troubles won by a half-length in 2:00.3 and Lucky Jenny was a two and three-quarter length winner in 2:00.4. The Chappell double returned $22.60.
Chappell also found victory lane with Reactor, who was victorious in the seventh race by a neck in 2:01.
The Edmonton, Alberta resident has seen his stable go 10-6-8 in 47 starts this season, collecting purses of $32,144 and a UTRS of 0.340. Lifetime, Chappell has harnessed 450 winners and has earnings of over $2.6 million.
