The Pierre Touchette stable was perfect on Friday night at Rideau Carleton Raceway as it went three-for-three on the 15-race program.
Touchette had a career year in 2007 when his barn won 105 races and banked over $1.6 million, which was the first time he eclipsed 100 victories and $1 million in earnings in a season. So far in 2008, he has sent out 33 winners and his starters have earned in excess of $240,000.
Winning for Touchette and driver Gilles Dion tonight at Rideau were Orithyrie Semalu (1:56.3), Funky Lim (1:58.2) and High Octave (2:02.3).
In his career, Touchette has seen 855 of his starters visit victory lane and they have collected over $10.7 million in purses.
