Hailing from Princeville, ON, Del 'Homer' Faggiani earned his way into the Trot Canada National Handicapping Championship through a series of qualifiers at Hanover Raceway.

Homer, a hunter and fisherman, is enjoying retirement, visits the racetrack at least once a week, and is looking forward to coming to Woodbine to try his hand at being crowned the top handicapper.
The $25,000 is enticing, and should Homer happen to win it all he plans on taking a nice trip with his prize money.
