Subtle Tweaks To Concord Expansion

Louis Cappelli has explained that the design for the $1.1 billion entertainment complex at the site of the old Concord Hotel in Kiamesha Lake, New York is undergoing slight tweaking. The complex will eventually be home to the new Monticello Raceway.

According to recordonline.com, Cappelli brought Las Vegas-based architects Marnell Corrao Associates into the fold two weeks ago to help redesign elements of the project. In the past the group designed The Mirage and Bellagio on the Las Vegas strip and several other casino resorts.

"They (the architects) are working full time on this and have come up with many incredible ideas, which we are going to use in the job," Cappelli told recordonline.com. "We are still anticipating a summer 2010 opening and getting back up to full speed on the job in the next 10 days to two weeks."
