A pair of gutsy victories in Thursday's Little Brown Jug at the Delaware Country Fairgrounds in Ohio wasn't enough to put Shadow Play on the top of this week's Hambletonian / Breeders Crown Standardbred Poll, but it did earn the son of The Panderosa an eighth-place ranking.
Deweycheatumnhowe, who last raced in the $1 million Canadian Trotting Classic at Mohawk, still holds down the top spot with Somebeachsomewhere holding down a second-place ranking.
"Dewey" garnered 27 of the first-place votes while Somebeachsomewhere picked first-place votes from seven voters. Mister Big, who won the Winbak Pace on Thursday in Ohio, also picked up a first-place vote.
