A slew of Standardbred Canada-sponsored stakes are on tap this week, including the $15,734 final of the Meridian Farms co-sponsored Erwin Andrew Memorial Pacing Series, which takes place tomorrow at Summerside Raceway.

The Erwin Andrew finale has been carded as the last dash on Summerside's 12-race program, which gets underway with a 7:00 p.m. first race post time. The race will showcase an eight-horse field.

Six-year-old Dream Away mare My Fine Lady (PP5, T. Trites, 2-1) has been given the nod in the morning line. The career winner of 29 races and $304,845 is in the midst of a solid campaign. Now racing out of the barn of trainer Dr. Trevin Shive, the brown lass has competed in 31 pari-mutuel events this season, hitting the board more than half the time. My Fine Lady lowered her mark to 1:54 while racing in the snow at Woodbine earlier this year, and has compiled a seasonal resume that reads 8-4-7 with $61,963 in earnings.

In 2007, the Erwin Andrew Memorial Pacing Series was known as the Standardbred Canada Aged Mares Pacing Series. R Es Queen Virginia captured the $6,100 event over Summerside in 1:56.2.

R Es Queen Virgina has been installed as the 4-1 third choice for the Erwin Andrew Memorial Pacing Series. The five-year-old daughter of Grinfromeartoear has drawn Post 2 and will have Gilles Barrieau at her lines.

A Day Away has been pegged as the 2-1 morning line favourite for the single division of the Prairie Lily Pace, which will go forward as Race 7 on this Saturday's eight-race program at Marquis Downs.

A Day Away will start from the rail for driver Deborah Manning and trainer Jeff McLeod in the Prairie Lily Pace, which is co-sponsored by the SSBOA.

The Arbutus Stakes for Canadian-sired and owned three-year-old pacing fillies will go forward as a non-wagering event at Fraser Downs Saturday. A total of four horses will contest the event. Red Star Diamond has drawn the rail, Doober Hoozzitz will start from Post 2, Der Bingle has landed the three-hole and Red Star Hottire will start from the outer Post 4.

Standardbred Canada sponsors the Arbutus Stakes along with the BC Standardbred Association.

Sponsored by SC and the Nova Scotia Harness Racing Industry Association (NSHRIA), the NS Stakes for two-year-old pacing fillies are scheduled to go forward on Northside Downs' live card for Saturday.
