Yesterday in Shelbyville, Indiana, officials from Indiana Live! held a preview event for local media, which was able to take some pictures of the 233,000-square-foot building.
Theheraldbulletin.com reports that the exterior of the building at Indiana Downs is 80 per cent complete, but most of the upcoming work will be focused on the interior, which is to house 2,000 electronic gaming machines.
Officials at Indiana Downs have yet to announce an opening date, but the building is supposed to be ready by mid-March, 2009.
