Buck I St Pat, driven by Tim Tetrick, rallied off a second-over trip to join harness racing's millionaires' club and win the $105,000 Perretti Matchmaker for trotting mares on Saturday night at the Meadowlands.
In addition to the $52,500 winner's share of the purse, Buck I St Pat earned a free breeding to Muscles Yankee, valued at $20,000, courtesy of Perretti Farms of Cream Ridge, NJ.
Trained by Mickey Burke, Buck I St Pat was a length better than runner-up Godiva Hall. Exotic Destination closed along the inside for third ahead of a hard-closing Susies Magic.
