The NCRHHA today stated that during a Wednesday night meeting in Napanee, ON, a crowd of Belleville-area horsepeople voted down a motion to have OHHA be their sole and exclusive bargaining agent with Baymount Inc.
Baymount is in the process of erecting the new Quinte Exhibition and Raceway in Belleville.
The release states that, as a result of Wednesday's 29-16 vote, the NCRHHA will continue its talks with the new racetrack operators in search of a multi-year contract.
