David Miller enjoyed a profitable afternoon at Freehold Raceway earlier today thanks to a trio of wins in the New Jersey Sires Stakes Green Acres divisions for two-year-old pacers.
Miller rolled the Chris Ryder-trained Sweepstake Jake to a 1:56.4 score in his $10,000 split. It was the second victory in five tries for the son of Cams Card Shark, who is owned by Jerry Silva, Sampson Street Stables, Ted Gewertz and Winbak Farm.
Enjoy The View, who was second-placed-first in his assignment, gave Miller his second stakes victory on the card. The Gary Napierala-trained son of Life Sign, who won for the second time in nine tries, is a homebred owned by Winbak Farms of Chesapeake City, MD.
AJ Mcardle completed Miller's hat trick thanks to his career-best clocking of 1:57.3 for trainer Albert Meyer. The Mcardle colt, who is owned by Allenhurst Stables LLC of Allenhurst, NJ, has won two of his six starts.
The other divisions went to Superbe Rulah (1:56.3) and Frankies Dream (1:57).
