The milestone watch is on for a number of high profile drivers including the likes of Dave Magee, Mike Lachance, Luc Ouellette and Frank Coppola Jr.
Hall-of-Fame driver Dave Magee is on the verge of reaching 11,000 career wins. The 54-year-old Chicago circuit standout entered Monday with 10,970 victories and $89.8 million in lifetime purses. His win total ranks sixth in harness racing history.
Another Hall of Fame driver, Mike Lachance, entered the week needing 15 wins to reach 10,000 in his career. Lachance's nephew, Luc Ouellette, was seven triumphs from 8,000. Frank Coppola Jr. needed two victories to reach 4,000.
