This morning, Woodrow Wilson and Metro Pace winner Major In Art put in his first charted line since capturing the million-dollar Metro August 30 at Mohawk Racetrack.

In rein to Dave Palone for trainer Justin Lebo, the two-year-old Art Major colt left from Post 1 this morning during the sixth qualifier at the Meadows in Pennsylvania.

Palone had the bay in the three-hole through opening panels of :29.1 and :57.4. Tipping Major In Art first-over in the third panel, Palone and his charge clicked off the third stanza in 1:27 flat while overland.

Continuing on with his full head of steam, the career winner of five of six races and $726,400 in purses opened up a two-length lead at the head of the stretch. Off a :28.2 final quarter, the duo would go on to notch a four and a quarter-length victory in 1:55.2.
