Driver Phil Hudon has been handed an indefinite suspension by the Ontario Racing Commission.
The ORC has also fined Hudon $500.
The indefinite suspension came into effect June, 24, 2008.
"Hudon's suspension comes as result of a violation of the ORC's Alcohol and Drug Policy," stated ORC deputy director Rob McKinney.
Hudon, 33, currently sits 12th overall on the Woodbine Entertainment Group's driver standings. The career winner of over 3,200 races has piloted the winners of over $34.5 million in purse earnings.
