It has been reported that Pompano Park had planned to today ask the Broward County Commission for zoning changes which would allow the Florida racetrack to expand its casino and build a 500-room hotel.
The report, which was published in the South Florida Business Journal, states that the Broward County Environmental Protection & Growth Management Department's Development and Environmental Regulation Division has recommended approval.
