Yesterday, driver Tony Morgan picked right up where he left off last season notching five wins on the Dover Downs opening day card.
Morgan's first win came steering Ol Man River to a lifetime record 1:55.1 victory for Ken Dawson and New Amsterdam Farm.
Fox Valley Sosa, owned by Richard and Pat Arndt, the only three-year-old in the race, collected a 1:54.3 win for Morgan in Race 5, a $20,000 Delaware claiming allowance.
In Race 7, Morgan steered Three Of Diamonds to a one-length victory in 1:56.
In Race 8, a $25,000 claiming allowance, Morgan hustled Herzon to a 1:53 score holding off Full Of Elegance (driven by Corey Callahan) by two lengths.
Morgan's fifth win of the night came in Race 12 with Fox Valley Cub Fan, who recorded a half-length victory in 1:56.3.
