Baymount Incorporated today announced that, in partnership with Ontario Lottery and Gaming, it will be hosting a groundbreaking ceremony at the future home of the new Quinte Exhibition & Raceway Thursday, August 28 at 10:00 a.m.
"We look forward to an exciting morning and anticipate that there will be great interest in our kick-off event," Graham Simmonds, president and CEO of Baymount, said today via release.
Numerous guests have been invited, including Belleville mayor, Neil Ellis, local MPP and Minister of Agriculture, The Honourable Leona Dombrowsky, president of the Belleville Agriculture Society (BAS), Jackie Denyes, chair of the Ontario Racing Commission (ORC) Rod Seiling, and members from the Ontario horse racing industry.
The event is to take place at 649 Bell Boulevard, Belleville, ON, where further directions will be posted.
