With a :28.4 final quarter effort, All Star Hanover hit the wire in 1:58 by three-quarters of a length.
Valeris (Jacqueline Ingrassia) closed well for second and Hall Of Wishes finished third.
All Star Hanover, trained by Joe Holloway and owned by Bluestone Farms LLC of Hopewell, New Jersey and Fredericka Caldwell of Georgetown, Kentucky, now sports a record of 6-2-1 in nine starts. She has amassed $161,591 in her freshman campaign.
In the $49,200 division, Bways Babe (Doug Snyder) posted a :29.2 opening panel, but driver Richard Shillings tipped Broadway Paige out from third before the half in :59.3 and the Broadway Hall miss glided to the front. Broadway Paige stayed strong through a 1:28.4 third quarter panel and held off challenger Virgilyn Hanover (Dave Miller) for the win in 1:58.1 by half a length. Perfect Prelude (Dave Palone) rounded out the top three.
The Brian Roland trainee improved her record to 5-4-1 in 11 starts and lifted her bankroll to $151,743 for Anthony and Carol Risi of Christiana, Pennsylvania and Bernard O'Brien of Lecanto, Florida.
