The BC Standardbred Breeders Society has announced that Fraser Downs will be hosting a special post position draw on Friday, November 7 for the approximately $400,000 BC Breeders Classic Day, to take place Remembrance Day, Tuesday, November 11.
The post draw will be taking place in the Fraser Downs Clubhouse.
The afternoon program, scheduled with a 1:15 p.m. start, will feature the finals of the two and three-year-old BC Breeders Stakes for both genders.
Headlining the big day will be the $100,000 inaugural Robert Murphy BC Breeders Stakes final for three-year-old colts and geldings and the $100,000 inaugural Mary Murphy BC Breeders Stakes final for three-year-old fillies.
The two-year-old BC Breeders Stakes finals for each gender carry a purse of $50,000. Non-finalist events will be raced for $13,000.
