Frankies Dream overcame a wet and dirty track at Freehold Raceway on Friday to capture the $35,000 New Jersey Sires Stakes – Green Acres Final for two-year-old pacing fillies.

With Pat Berry at the reins, the daughter of Mcardle – Im Not Dreamin cleared to the lead down the backside the first time around and set an opening panel of :27.4. Frankies Dream was under heavy pressure the whole way from the first-over Lilly Langtree (Jim Marshall), who pressed the pace through splits of :57.3 and 1:27.

Once Frankies Dream disposed of Lilly Langtree, she opened up enough daylight to cruise to a three-quarter length victory in 1:57.4. Quick Little Miss (Jim Pantaleano) rallied into second while Dawns Legacy (Jim Meittinis) completed the top three.

Trained by Julie Miller for owner Lomangino Standardbreds, Frankies Dream is four-for-five in her young career, with earnings of $35,000.
