The stable of trainer Scott Forward had a productive day at the office thanks to a three-win performance on Sunday at St. Johns Raceway and Entertainment Centre.
Jerry Mcguire showed Forward the money thanks to his 2:04.3 score in Race 4. He rallied the five-year-old son of Intrepid Seelster to the narrow victory for owner Joanne Forward of Goulds, Newfoundland.
Shane Forward did the sulky sitting behind Scott's other winners. He clicked with Tobeatic (2:09.3) in Race 6 and came right back to victory lane in Race 7 with Treasure Me Flurry (2:04.3).
The three-win performance pushed Scott's 2008 win total to 22, and it bumped his lifetime total to 194.
