It was a perfect night at the office on Monday for trainer Ira Fisher, who watched his trotting troops go 3-for-3 at Grand River Raceway.
Fisher, who was an assistant in the stable of trainer Anders Wolden until this past August, took over the training duties on that outfit when Wolden decided to return to his native land.
Rambos Buddy (2:04.4), HP Forte (1:59.4) and Rock Rico (2:00.3) gave Fisher his first-ever hat trick thanks to their winning efforts earlier this evening at the Elora oval.
The resident of Guelph, ON has produced a 14-10-7 record with the 85 starters he has sent out to this point, and that has accounted for just over $200,000 in earnings.
