Two $13,000 Preferred events gave fillies and mares of both gaits a chance to strut their stuff at Georgian Downs on Saturday night and Condi Lane and Unique Legacy did just that.

Condi Lane dominated the Fillies & Mares Preferred 2 Trot with a wire-to-wire victory.

With Dave Boughton at the reins, the sophomore filly by Striking Sahbra posted fractions of :28.1, :58.1 and 1:27.2 en route to victory in 1:56.4.

Jtlady Strong (Norm Jones) finished over four lengths back in second and Shezatramp (Paul MacKenzie) rounded out the top three.

Bob Young trains the five-time winner for Robert Deveau of Toronto, Ont. Condi Lane now boasts a bankroll of $98,413.

In the Fillies & Mares Preferred 2 Pace, Unique Legacy improved his record to 11-5-1 in 19 starts for trainer Casie Coleman and owner Robert Hamather of Exeter, Ont.

The three-year-old Real Desire filly, who has earned a total of $216,436 in her career, settled in fifth position with Robert Shepherd in tow as Sentbytheangels (Mike Langdon) scooted to the lead from Post 7. After an opening panel of :27.1, Taylorlane Action (Anthony MacDonald) took command of the field.

After passing the half-mile maker in :57, Unique Legacy tipped out and advanced through a 1:26 third quarter. As the pacesetter faded, Unique Legacy paced to victory in 1:54.3 by almost three lengths.

Sentbytheangels finished second and Roxanna Hanover (Aaron Byron) closed well for third.
