New Brunswick's Exhibition Park Raceway is gearing up for a big weekend with Atlantic Sires Stakes and the Erwin Andrew Memorial Series kicking off the week-long Atlantic National Exhibition.
EPR's biggest week of the year will kick off with a double-header race program Saturday August 23, featuring the aforementioned sires stakes event and leg of the Erwin Andrew Memorial. Post time for the two programs is 1:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Anticipated action during the ANE includes Atlantic Sires Stakes for two-year-old pacing colts on Tuesday, August 26 and Atlantic Sires Stakes for two & three-year-old trotters on Thursday, August 28. The action will wrap up on Saturday, August 30 with another double-header, featuring the $8,000 ANE Invitational, the Atlantic Sires Stakes for three-year-old pacers and The Maritimer Stake for three-year-old fillies.
EPR also announced that there will be a $200 per race increase in the purse structure just in time for the ANE week of racing.
