Dough On The Line Wednesday At Chester

Pennsylvania's top two-year-olds will be racing for $720,000 tomorrow afternoon, as they head to Chester Downs for the Pennsylvania Sire Stakes Championships and consolations.

The four championship races are worth $150,000 each, and start in the eighth race with trotting fillies. Cantab Hall lass All Star Hanover and SJs Caviar filly Caviar Forthe Lady both show victories as far back as the charted program lines go. All Star Hanover (to be driven by David Miller) definitely got the better of the draw with Post 2. 'Caviar' (Charlie Norris) drew the dreaded outside Post 8.

Pedigree Snob, a stakes winner in New Jersey, Ohio and Pennsylvania, appears to be the one to beat in the filly pace, as the Allamerican Native lass will start Race 9 from Post 6. David Miller will perform the driving duties behind Pedigree Snob. Ginger And Fred (Tim Tetrick) will enjoy a post position having drawn the two-hole, but the Real Artist filly does show sick scratches in two of her last four lines.

Salutation Hanover, an Andover Hall colt, headlines Race 11. To be driven by Dave Palone, Salutation Hanover, who is riding a four-race win streak, will start from Post 1. Ray Schnittker-trained Cantab Hall colt Citation Lindy will start from Post 5 with reinsman Tim Tetrick.

Arctic Warrior (PP1, T. Tetrick) and Panmunjom (PP2, D. Palone) will clash nose-to-nose again in the colt pace finale, slotted for Race 12. Last time out, Arctic Warrior set a strong pace, but got nipped at the end by the pocket-sitting Panmunjom.

First race post time for Chester's Wednesday card is 12:25 p.m.
