Deweycheatumnhowe made it look easy in the $350,000 Stanley Dancer Memorial on Friday at the Meadowlands by going to the front, making two left turns and trotting flawlessly to his 13th straight win to remain perfect.

Starting from Post 1, the Muscles Yankee – Trolley Square colt positioned himself on the lead for trainer/driver Ray Schnittker in :28.2, placing second choice and other elimination winner Celebrity Secret (Tim Tetrick) in the two-hole.

Clerk Magistrate (Trevor Ritchie) started first-over, but no one, not even pocket-sitter Celebrity Secret, could get within two lengths of Dewey the entire mile. He cut his own fractions in :57 and 1:25.3 before sprinting away in the lane, winning by three lengths in 1:53.2.

"I got nice fractions and he just sprinted home. He seems like he really likes this place so hopefully he gets two more [wins] here. I had such a hold of him; he was banging on the bike wanting to go," said Schnittker. "I'll give him a few days off and just ride him. I haven't trained him in about six weeks so maybe I'll go a trip next Saturday."

Celebrity Secret hung onto the place spot over Clerk Magistrate.

Deweycheatumnhowe ($2.40), who is owned by Schnittker, Theodore Gewertz, Charles Iannazzo, and the Deweycheatumnhowe Stable, heads to the Hambo eliminations in two weeks undefeated. The victory pushed Dewey past a million dollars lifetime, now sitting with $1,154,580.
