Deweycheatumnhowe's 17-race win streak was snapped on Saturday evening at Mohawk Racetrack in his elimination for this year's Canadian Trotting Classic, but it didn't stop the voters in this week's Hambletonian/Breeders Crown Standardbred Poll from giving him the majority of the first-place votes.

Crazed, who holds down the six spot in this week's poll, played giant killer for the duo of trainer Frank Antonacci Jr. and driver Tim Tetrick.

Somebeachsomewhere is perched second in the standings, just as he's done since his lone career defeat in this year's Meadowlands Pace final. "The Beach" took home 11 of the first-place votes compared to Dewey's 23.

The only other horse to garner a first-place vote in the poll is free-for-all star, Mister Big, who holds down the third spot in the poll.

This week's poll is listed below, with first-place votes listed in brackets.
