Those planning on going down to the Little Brown Jug and staying at the Delaware Inn better make alternate plans.
According to a report on thisweeknews.com, the hotel was closed and condemned last week.
The report states that inoperable smoke alarms in 95 per cent of the rooms, exposed wiring in rooms and guest overstays were among numerous alleged violations included in the laundry list of items.
Last November, the hotel was closed for a brief period, but officials from Delaware, Ohio said the violations discovered last week were more serious.
"Unfortunately, the conditions have not improved and the situation has gotten worse, to the point the facility is unhealthy and unsafe," Lee Yoakum, Delaware's community-affairs coordinator, was quoted as saying.
