Two years of extensive research by Sports Illustrated executive editor, Charlie Leehrsen, has resulted in a comprehensive, epic work about the incomparable Dan Patch.
According to the Harness Tracks of America's daily newsletter, Simon and Schuster, one of America's major book publishers, has set a release date for summer of 2008 for the book and has assigned a tentative title of Crazy Good: The Story of Dan Patch, the Most Famous Horse in America.
The history of the great pacer is said to include material never previously published about the celebrated horse and his connections.
