The third session of the Lexington Selected Yearling Sale was completed on Friday night and a Credit Winner colt fetched the highest bid for the second straight night.
That colt was Whata Winner, who will try to live up to his name for purchaser Jim Doherty of Clifton, NJ. The fourth foal of Whata Chipe, he sold for $165,000 as Hip 296.
In total, seven yearlings topped the $100,000 mark, with five of those being trotters.
Session #4 begins on Saturday night at 7 p.m. and the final day of the sale commences at 12 noon on Sunday.
