BJs Fancy extended her win streak to three on Saturday night with a victory in the $13,000 Preferred 2 Trot at Georgian Downs.

With Jean Rene Plante in the bike, BJs Fancy sat in fifth position as Thys Ballad (Aaron Byron) took the field to the first quarter pole in :28. The post time favourite, Condi Lane (Dave Boughton), captured the lead before the half in :58.1, while Plante stepped on the gas with BJs Fancy. The four-year-old Angus Hall mare accelerated to the lead, clearing after a 1:26.4 third quarter. She reached the wire in 1:57.1 with almost five lengths on the field.

Thys Ballad and Condi Lane finished second in a dead-heat.

BJs Fancy, who was recently acquired by David Schneider of Coral Springs, Florida, has earned $98,490 in her career. The 11-time winner hangs her harness bag in the barn of Sue Marie Gangell.
