In rein to Ross Wolfenden, Rays Big Bubba equaled Badlands Nitro's track record of 1:53.4 for two-year-old pacing colts Wednesday at Harrington Raceway with an impressive win in the second leg of the Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) stakes.
The Scott Gregoire-trained Badlands Hanover colt set all the fractions in his open length win as he improved to three for six lifetime.
Rays Big Bubba is owned by the Richards Stable, Donna Sullivan and Judy Leonard.
Meanwhile, PT Stable's Al Ibad Spider (Tony Morgan) set a new track record for two-year-old pacing geldings with a victory in 1:55.2.
Jeff Bartels' Sgt Charlie (1:55.3, Ross Wolfenden) Elmer Fannin and George Teague's Mr Wiggles (1:55.1, Jim Morand) and Erika Paradee and Ricky Pryor's Royal Camelot (1:55.3, Brandon Givens) each won their respective divisions.
