Atlantic Sires Stakes Continue Thursday

Lobster Carnival racing continues Thursday at Summerside Raceway featuring eight divisions of Atlantic Sires Stakes for three-year old pacing fillies.

Races 8, 10, and 12 on the card have been designated Atlantic Sires Stakes 'A' divisions.

In the first division Gilles Barrieau looks to deliver from Post 3 with 2-1 morning line favourite Tobins Paradise, who he co-owns with the Ultimate Stable. Other starters are Woodmere No Fool, Diplomate Girl, Fern Hill Treasure, Porthill Friendly, Island Impeccable, For The Luv Abunny and Emily J Down.

In the second division, owners Elwood Lawton, Arlean Harris and Tyler Shea have their filly Southview Sprig listed as the 2-1 morning line favorite with Walter Cheverie in the bike. Other starters include Beer Drinkin Doll, Hermione Benka, Island Idol, Grayland Becky, Woodmere Camilla, Fern Hill Thunder and Elite Rhythm.

In Race 12 Elm Grove Ilse is the 2-1 morning line favourite from Post 5 with Clare MacDonald driving. The filly is owned by Morah Kerr, Robert Gordon, and Phonsie Maceachern. Other starters are Shadowcross Arose, Dropdead Beautiful, Drop Of Nutmeg, Come Back Quick, Rhondas Belle, Whatagirl and Grayland Bad Girl.

Races 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11 are Atlantic Sires Stakes 'B' divisions.

The 12-dash card carries a first race post time of 7:00 p.m.
