The Maryland harness racing circuit returns to the Capital Region on Monday, Sept. 14 when Rosecroft Raceway kicks off its 2026 Fall Meet.
The 27-night meet will feature live harness racing on Monday and Thursday evenings through Dec. 17, with nightly first post at 7:15 p.m. The exceptions to the standard schedule include both of the Fall Meet's marquee events: the Maryland Showcase of Champions program on Sunday, Oct. 11 and the Potomac Pace on Sunday, Nov. 8. Both Sunday programs will begin at 6 p.m. and will replace the immediately following Monday programs. Rosecroft will additionally be dark on the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, Nov. 26.
The $800,000 USD Maryland Showcase of Champions program will feature all eight fall Maryland Sire Stakes finals for two and three-year-olds on the same program, reviving the format for the first time in well over a decade. Four weeks later, North America's top Open pacers will converge on the Capital Region for the 11th edition of the $125,000 USD Potomac Pace (Grade 3), Maryland's only graded Standardbred race.
Players will be treated to a steady dose of full, competitive fields and value opportunities, including two 50-cent Pick-4s on each card with a reduced 15 per cent takeout, as well as a 50-cent Jackpot Hi-5 on the final race of each program. Free program pages, the Players' Guide tip sheet and live and archived video will be available on the track's new website at rosecroftraceway.com.
