Woodbine Mohawk Park has reported that eliminations will not be needed for the Canadian Trotting Classic and Elegantimage Stakes.
The entry box closed on Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 10:30 a.m. for several marquee races, including the Canadian Trotting Classic (Grade 1) and Elegantimage Stakes (Grade 1) along with the Metro Pace (Grade 1) and Shes A Great Lady Stakes (Grade 1).
The Canadian Trotting Classic (three-year-old trotters) and Elegantimage (three-year-old filly trotters) will each go straight to their respective finals. The Canadian Trotting Classic received 10 entrants, while the Elegantimage received 11.
The Metro Pace (two-year-old pacers) and Shes A Great Lady (two-year-old filly pacers) each received 12 entries, which sets up a pair of eliminations for both events this Saturday, Sept. 13.

The Canadian Trotting Classic and Elegantimage finals will be held on Saturday, Sept. 20 as part of the rich card featuring the $1 million Mohawk Million and $1 million Metro Pace.
The draws for this weekend’s eliminations will be released on the Standardbred Canada website later this afternoon.
