The connections of Zette Athena have supplemented the three-year-old trotting filly to the upcoming Elegantimage Stakes (Grade 1) at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
The deadline for supplements to both the Elegantimage and Canadian Trotting Classic closed on Monday, Sept. 8 at 12 noon. There were no supplements to the Canadian Trotting Classic.
Owned by Gestion J Y Blais Inc. of Montreal, Que., Zette Athena enters the Elegantimage having won six of 14 starts this season for trainer Justin Turcotte. The daughter of Six Pack-Zette Angel was recently second in a division of the Casual Breeze (Grade 3) on Aug. 22 at Mohawk. Zette Athena holds a mark of 1:53.1 taken at Mohawk prior to her grades stakes-placed effort and has earned $76,212 this season.
The fee to supplement to the Elegantimage was $30,000.
The entry box for the Elegantimage closes on Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 10:30 a.m. with eliminations to be held this Saturday, Sept. 13.
The Elegantimage final, with an estimated purse of $347,000, is part of the rich Mohawk Million card on Saturday, Sept. 20.
